About 0.812 Inch Brass Pipe Screens
If you've ever smoked a pipe without a screen, then you're probably familiar with dottle. It's the nasty clump of wet tobacco at the bottom of the pipe. If left untreated, it can give a permanently foul taste to your pipe.
Pipe screens go at the bottom of the pipe bowl, and prevent dottle from forming. A screen also prevents tobacco from accidentally being sucked up through the stem and into your mouth.
These thick brass pipe screens are 0.812 inches in diameter.
