The first paper that is popular among smokers is the 1 1/4 rolling paper size. These are the typical standard paper that most major brands use because of their overall convenience. Many smokers choose to use these 1 ¼ rolling papers because they are so widely available. The term "1 ¼" doesn't refer to the paper length however, it refers to the paper width. Every 1 1/4 paper is exactly 1 and 1/4 inch wide, but the length can vary slightly depending on the brand. Although single wide papers vary in length from brand to brand like the 1 1/4 paper, they can always be found to be 1 inch wide, which makes the name very straightforward. Typically these papers will also be shorter than a 1 1/4 paper, and can classically found between 68mm - 70mm. This ratio is used to make sure that a full roll can be made for the entire structure if you decide to roll a cone-shaped cigarette. The name “double-wide” is exactly as it sounds; these papers are two inches wide, as the name "double-wide" suggests. Who doesn't want to feel like a king? King Size rolling papers are used by those who liked a lot of smoking herbs in their cigarettes. This is the biggest standard size on the market and is used by many brands due to the popularity and the prestige of being called King. Many people choose this size because of the burn time as well. King Size rolling papers are 109mm - 110mm in length, which adds a great deal of space at the end of the paper compared to other sizes. Depending on the brand, the addition of almost 35mm increases the burn time by half, which makes them desirable when being passed around a circle. These are slightly wider than other papers and come out just over the width of a 1 1/4 at about 55mm - 60mm in height. The longer burn time also helps users just rolling for themselves because they can spread their favorite smoking product out even more and enjoy it for a longer time.
